He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maria P. Zepeda; his children, Gloria Medina (Robert), Herman Zepeda, Irene Richard (Ronnie), Teresa Zepeda, and Joel Zepeda; his grandchildren, Angie Gonzalez, Jason Villarreal, Alex Colunga, Kristina Zepeda, Jon Zepeda; and his great-grandchildren, Alivia Gonzalez, Alayna Gonzalez, Alexa Gonzalez and R.J. Colunga. His three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Augustine Zepeda; his grandson, Nathan D. Suarez; and his great-grandson, Nicholas E. Gonzalez.
The Zepeda family will greet family and friends from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 11am, Thursday, June 2, 2011 in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale, followed by interment.
