

Marguerite Price McFarland was born September 16, 1926 in Washita, Arkansas to W.M. Price and Mallissa Pitts Price. She went to be with the Lord and her loving family that had gone before her on November 18, 2013. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, a son William Gary Sanders, daughter Debbie Lynch, son-in-law John F Drake, Jr, brothers: Louis Smith, L.D. Price, William Price and Leven Price; sisters: Dovie Price, Rena Price Lewter, Roberta Price Hudson and Della Marie Price Dildy. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 wonderful years C.M. Buddy McFarland, daughters Carol Sanders Hale and husband Keaford and Janet Lewis and husband Bill, sons: Steven McFarland and wife Angela, David McFarland and Randy Lynch, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Marguerite was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, greatest grandma, aunt and friend. She touched countless lives with her gentle smile and forgiving soul. For those who knew her know an angel has now returned to the arms of her Savior. She lived her life to take care of those around her. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxillary, where she held District, State and National offices, spending hours honoring and serving the men and women of our armed forces. She was an active member at Second Baptist Church in Jacinto City, TX. She served as President of The Women's City of Federation Club, and was also a member of the 8 and 40 as well as the Eastern Star. Affectionately known as "the purse lady" Marguerite was a business owner for several years making custom made purses. Although, retired for many years she was still using her talents to sew and create beautiful hand made treasures for her family and friends.
