Margy Ray Webster

Margy Ray Davis Webster, age 91, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Born in Navasota, Texas to Charnic Daniel Davis and Mary Ellen Hair Davis, she was raised in Carlos, Texas and graduated from Iola High School. She was married to Ernest Mitchell Webster, Sr. and lived in Houston for more than 70 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and housewife. She was feisty and fun until the end and was dearly loved by all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Mitchell Webster, Sr.; son, Ernest Mitchell “Ernie” Webster, Jr.; and beloved sister, Mary Juanita “Nita” Davis Pittillo. Survived by daughters, Francine Webster Jordan and husband Ted, Linda Webster Jennings and Judy Webster Burgay; grandchildren, Lisa Jordan Davidson, Nicole Jordan Walling and husband Curt, and Brandon Jennings and wife Cara; seven loving great grandchildren, Jake Davidson, William Davidson, James Walling, Jordan Walling, Hugh Jennings, Reese Jennings, and Cash Jennings; special niece, Alicia Pittillo Dubois and husband Doug; great nephew, Austin Dubois; a host of beloved cousins, nieces and nephews; special half sisters, Charlene Cunliffe, Algie Petrere, and Margaret Sanford.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
