Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Terry lived a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and strength. She was the heart of her family — a devoted mother, proud Nana, caring sister, loving Tía, and loyal friend.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Carolina Flores, and is now reunited with them in eternal peace, walking with Jesus.
She is survived by her children: Juan (Shameka) Flores, Marciano (Mark Anthony) Rodriguez, Arriana (Martin) Jasso her beloved grandchildren: Jazmine, Jayla, Joe, Joshua and Ezequiel; her sisters: Beatric (Joe) Carrillo, Diana Flores; and her brothers: Raul (Tomasa) Flores, Rolando (Annette) Flores, Jose (Blanca) Flores and Andres Morales and countless nieces and nephews — all of whom will forever cherish her love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Her faith in God guided her every step and gave her the courage and grace that touched so many lives. She was a woman of deep belief, unwavering perseverance, and endless compassion.
For 41 years, she dedicated herself to her career at Harris Central Appraisal District, where her hard work and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments — watching Hallmark movies, shopping, going out to eat, and traveling. But her greatest joy came from her family, who were her whole world. She loved watching her grandkids at their sports games and FFA events, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by her loved ones.
Her laughter, kindness, and warm heart made every gathering brighter. She had a smile that could light up a room and a heart big enough to hold everyone she loved. Her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering faith will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Though she’s no longer here with us, we know she’s at peace — watching over us from Heaven, guiding us, and wrapping us in her love from above.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever our Nana. 💕
