Maria De Jesus Harris

She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 60 years, Eugene Dale Harris Sr. Maria is survived by her six children Maria Yolanda Krantz and husband Ron, Maria De Jesus Hobbs and husband Anthony, Eugene Dale Harris Jr. and wife Trang, Maria Angela Harris, Timothy Charles Harris and wife Christina, and Patricia Lynne Martinez and husband Esteban. She was blessed with 16 wonderful grandchildren: Alana and Carly Krantz, Anthony & Casey Hobbs, Justin, Elijah, Chloe & Abigail Harris, Briana, Brandon, Bianca & Bryson Harris, Chyanne and Alejandra Harris, Esteban Jr. and Skye Martinez, Toria Luera, and her great grandchild Olivia Embrey, to cherish her memory.

Maria enjoyed family gatherings and spending what time she could with her grandchildren. The warmth of her sweet voice, contagious laugh, humorous ways, along with her caring and guiding light will truly be missed by those that loved her.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
