She was born in Legazpi City Philippines on November 11, 1953 to parents Roman Orinoco Sr and Purificacion Ala.
Maricel graduated from the University of the East Manila Philippines with a BSBA in Accounting.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church Choir and Rosary prayer groups. She had a passion for gardening.
Maricel is survived by her grandchild Addie Lee Orinoco; Nephews Michael, Charles and Raymond; Siblings Roman Jr, Gregorio, Estefania Lydia, Delia, Lea and Carmen Hart; sister-in-laws Jovy and Anita and niece-in-law Kimberlee Orinoco.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roman and Purificacion and brother-in-laws Rene and Ladolle.
A funeral service for Maricel will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2730 Nelwood Dr, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A reception will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
