Marie France Jones passed away on June 20, 2012 at the age of 89. Her last years were spent in North Carolina, but Houston had been her home for 60 years before that. She is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, her husband Roderick M Jones and son Maury Jones. She is survived by her daughter Janice Brugioni of Fearrington Village, NC and seven nieces. Exceptionally gracious, she was a treasured companion and unconditionally loving mom, full of fun, welcoming and kind. She is loved and missed more than words can say.
Funeral services will take place at Forest Park Lawndale on Wednesday June 27 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. that day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Maury Scott Jones Memorial Fund at the Heifer Foundation.
