Maximiano C. Rodriguez Jr., 82, born in Mercedes, TX, passed away on March 25, 2011 in Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his ex wife, Hope Soto, son in law, Danny Chavez, granddaughter Angela Marie Rosas, and great granddaughter, Baby Evalicia. Left to cherish his memories are his children; Joe Rodriguez (Margaret), Blanche Rubio (Ray), Elizabeth Rosas (Ruben), Alice Chavez, Sophia Cabrera (Manuel), Stella Rodriguez (Ruben), and Paula Soto. Also left to cherish his memories are his grandchildren; Sylvia Ann (Raymond), Joe Anthony (Maria), Sergio, Mark, Michael (Veronica), Joe Max, John David, Carey (Tracy), Rachel, Jim (Samantha), Joe (Marla), John, Martin (Adriana), Reynaldo (Anna), Patricia (Daryl), Mary Alice (Marcos), Rick (Florinda), Larry Lee (Jessica), Vicente (Priscilla), Gilbert Ray, Ana (Sam), Amanda (Frank), John Charlie (Vanessa), Maximiano “Jay” (Theresa), Andrew (Veronica), Manuel Jr. (Alicia), Johnny (Elizabeth), Ashley, Michael, Justin and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Rodriguez was an avid Houston Astros fan who enjoyed watching and attending the games. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 12pm to 9pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in Houston, TX. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:00pm at IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale, TX.
