Michael Ray Michels, born September 10, 1953 in Houston, Texas, passed away October 16, 2010 in Houston. Mr. Michels was preceded in death by his father, Robert Michels. He is survived by his mother, Natalie Michels; his daughter, Ashley Michels and her mother, Angela Michels; sister, Paula McDonald and husband, Richard Zann; brothers, Richard Michels and Chris Michels and wife, Annette; close friends, Furqan and Antonio; nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Mr. Michels worked for 26 years for Foamex Innovations.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 North Main Street, Houston, Texas 77009. Interment will follow in Cegelski Cemetery, Chappell Hill, Texas.
