Msgr. Paul Procella

Msgr. Paul Procella, age 82, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Born in Hemphill, Texas, he was ordained as a priest in 1987 and was Pastor of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church from 1990 to 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye T. Procella; and his brothers, Henry, Rayford and Glendale Procella. He is survived by his brothers, Eugene Procella and wife Eulene, Ernest Procella, and Brad Lankford and wife Donna; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Vigil and then Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will again be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with a second Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 all at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 527 S. Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77338, celebrated by His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, D.D., S.T.L. Rite of Committal Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
