Neal S. Wilson Jr.

Neal S. Wilson, Jr., born August 17, 1929 to Neal and Marie Wilson in Houston, Texas, passed away November 8, 2010 in Houston. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Villman. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Kathryn L. Wilson; sons, Michael Neal Wilson and wife, Nancy, and Patrick Lewis Wilson; daughter, Bunny Nabors; grandchildren, Erin Christine Adelsman and husband, Paul, Sean Wilson, Rachel Nicole Wilson, and Nic Nabors; brother, William Claude Wilson, and other family and friends.

Neal graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Houston, and attended college in California. He worked for Swift and Co. for many years, then worked for Allied Distributing Co. in Houston. Neal was an active volunteer with the food pantry for Grace United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1245 Heights Blvd., Houston, Texas 77008.
