Patience Ijeoma Eke

Patience was born on July 21, 1964. She devoted nearly 40 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. She was known for her compassion, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her patients and coworkers.

Outside of her career, Patience was a devout Christian who loved serving others through charity and acts of kindness. She often went out of her way—even giving from the little she had—to bring joy to every family she touched.

She enjoyed cooking family meals, reading her Bible, watching movies, and singing.

Patience will be remembered for her kindness, strong faith, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved.

She is survived by her children, Chidera George and Cherechi George; her bonus adopted children, Megan Foncannon, Daniel Foncannon, and Iris Acetuno; her sister, Nene; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home in Houston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., prior to the service.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown during this difficult time. Patience’s legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in all who knew her.
