Patricia D. Escamilla was placed in the Douglas family home on February 12, 2007 at the age of two years old. She was the life of Douglas family for ten years. On August 17, 2016, she lost her battle due to complications of cancer. Patricia attended Fallbrook Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael Pender. She went to Sunday school, where her teacher April Diggs taught her about serving God. She was also taught about the Lord and how He loved her at home. Patricia would tell the family about the Sunday school lessons on the way home from church. She loved to read the Bible and often prayed before going to bed at night. The whole family would all sit together before she went to school to pray and read God’s Word. Patricia was loved and is still loved in the hearts of her family. She was brave, a strong fighter, independent, fun, crafty, smart, an artist, and very witty. She was so sweet to all she met. She loved to smile. She attended Pat Reynolds Elementary School where she was loved by teachers and classmates. She loved soccer, skating, going to the beach, swimming, taking cruises and Disney World. But most of all, she enjoyed being home with her family. Patricia leaves to cherish her memories: Keener and Doris Douglas: sisters, Destanie Escamilla and Ronaliseya Stoudemire; brother, Antonio Stoudemire; mother Lisa Dawn Chlamon; grandfather, Lawrence Price and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, schoolmates, and teachers.
