Pearl Raborn

PEARL OTT RABORN, 102 passed away on March 2, 2017. She was born to Mabel and Harry "Jack" Ott on September 25, 1914 in the town of Osyka, Mississippi. She moved to Houston in 1936 where she married Robert Raborn, who died in 1991. She is survived by her three children, Robert Jr, his wife Margaret and their two children, Robert III and Robin, Gene and his wife Mary and their two children, Kimberly and Eric and her daughter, Polly Boe, her husband George William Boe and their two children, Ashley and George. She also had two great grandchildren - Wilder A MacLeod, son of Ashley Boe MacLeod with husband Hunter and Freyja Pearl Hanchen, daughter of Kimberly Raborn Hanchen and husband Andrew.

Pearl Raborn was a devoted member of Lindale Baptist Church for over 70 years, teaching children most of those years. She was also a teachers' aide at Hohl Elementary for 12 years.

She was the Raborn family matriarch and loved by all.

There will be a visitation on March 7, 2017 at 9am, followed by a service in the chapel at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Avenue. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
