He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Micaela Garcia; his wife, Carmen Mejia Garcia; brother Joe L. Garcia. He is survived by his son, Ray M. Garcia; daughter, Darlene G. Munguia and husband, Thomas H. Munguia; brother Refugio Garcia; sisters, Estella Rodriguez and Natalie Meza. Four grandchildren, Thomas G. Munguia, Jacob D. Munguia, Nicholas P. Munguia and Carolina C. Munguia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pete worked as a furniture upholster for forty-five years. Enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting, watching baseball and football.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 10 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm in the Grand Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, November 11 at 10:00am. The graveside service will immediately follow.
