Phyllis Jeanfreau Chenault

She was the first born daughter of Elmo and Mary Jeanfreau on Feb 16, 1939. She is survived by her husband Roger, daughter Stephanie, and two sisters, Lila Macaluso and Donna Scott. She is a member of Berachah Church and was active in Christian bible study, witnessing and helping others. She was greatly loved by her family and friends and was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She loved to entertain family and friends.

She accompanied her husband who worked overseas and they had great pleasure in traveling and vacationing in over 30 countries. Phyllis was elected by the American Women’s Club, and both she and her friend Fatima, Kuwait’s first female t.v. personality, held the first fashion show at the new Kuwait Hilton Hotel. She was in the presence of Queen Elizabeth when she visited Houston.

As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, she has forgiveness of sins, the righteousness of Christ and eternal life in heaven. “There is no judgment to those who are in Christ Jesus”.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home followed by the funeral services at 4:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Santo North Cemetery, Santo, Texas on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
