Raul was born to Eduardo Abundis and Epifanía Guajardo, May 29, 1947, in Monterrey, Mexico. He married Maria Solis in 1973, and they lived together in Houston, Tx. Together they raised 2 children.
Raul is survived by: Maria Abundis, Maria Gonzalez, Eduardo Abundiz, Brianna Abundiz, Sarah Abundiz, Samantha Abundiz, Kassandra Abundiz and Ethan Gonzalez .
He was preceded in death by Eduardo Abundis, (Father), Epifanía Guajardo, (Mother), and Roberto Abundis, (Brother), Rafael Abundis (brother), Rogelio Abundis (brother).
Raul Served as a Pastor for 33 years. He enjoyed Fishing, watching movies, spending time with his Family, playing the guitar and bongos, and telling others about Jesus.
A visitation for Raul will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A commital service will occur Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
