

Rebecca was married to Joe A. Olivo for over 44 years. She was a loving wife, nurturing mother and a caregiver, often caring for others, and she was a beloved sister. She was one of seventeen children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her parents, Ignacio and Maria Bocanegra, twelve of her siblings, and her granddaughter, Sarah.
Rebecca was witty, fun loving, a great sense of humor and she loved life. But most of all she was a woman of strong faith.
She loved to sing [had a beautiful voice], play the guitar, and dance. As a teen she performed on many stages as an amateur, featuring and known for dancing through a ring of fire.
Rebecca choreographed and organized shows, teaching her three oldest children and youngest sister, Delia the art of the ballet folklorico.
She is survived by her children: Victor J. and wife, Irma; Robert and Diana; Sylvia Olivo Castro and husband, Reuben; Cynthia and husband, Lalo; Rudy and fiancé, Sandra; and Ron. She is survived and is loved by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her sisters: Consuelo Yanez and husband Antonio; Elisa Fernandez; Delia Falcon and husband Pete; and her brother, Ruben and wife, Helen.
Visitation will be held at Earthman-Resthaven on I-45 and the Mass will be at St Edward Catholic Church in Spring, Tx., followed by interment at the Houston National Cemetery.
