Regina Gurka

She was thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate and humorous.

Regina worked for 44 years in the printing industry as a machine operator. She loved gardening, cooking and baking, especially during the holidays and talking on the phone to family and friends.

She was born February 6, 1945, in Chappell Hill, Texas to Victor and Willie Mae (Krolczyk) Gurka. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Leonard Gurka, sister Bernice Gurka Sebesta and brother-in-law Louis Sebesta. She is survived by her son, Darren Gurka and wife Angela (Fritsche) Gurka, grandson Tyler Gurka, sister Louise Gurka Guillory, brother-in-law Winston Guillory, nieces Susan Finke (Steve), Kristy Lundegreen (Rusty), nephews Richard Sebesta (Diane), David Sebesta, Chris Guillory and great nephews, Nathan Finke and Logan Guillory.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on April 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the Rosary at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, the same day from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Committal will take place at St Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 6200 Chadwick Hogan Rd, Chappell Hill, TX 77426, US, on April 22, 2026, at 11:30am.
