Reta Jo Webb

Reta Webb passed away Sunday afternoon July 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Reta was born in Foss, Oklahoma to John and Ada (Thomson) Goodwin on May 9, 1934. She grew up in the Washita County, Oklahoma area and graduated from high school at Burns Flat. Reta married Joe Wayne Webb from Burns Flat on January 6, 1952. They were married over fifty-six years until his death in 2008.

Reta enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading, cooking and getting everyone together for family gatherings. Her favorite past time was supporting her grandchildren in all their activities. She loved being a Granny.

Reta Webb is preceded in death by her parents John and Ada Goodwin; husband Joe Webb and her eldest son Steven Webb, and her four brothers Bill, Roy, Donald and Darrell Goodwin.

Reta Webb is survived by daughter in law Trina Webb, son Richard Webb and wife Rochelle, and her daughter Carolyn (Joanie) Hahn. Also surviving Reta Webb are her grandchildren: Douglas Webb and wife Manasi, Justin Webb and wife Melissa, Russell Webb and wife Glenda, Stephanie Hunt and husband Curtis, Melanie Harkey and husband Brad, Brandi Webb and Joshua Hahn and wife Kacey. Reta is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the care givers who took such great care of our mother.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2023 at Waltrip Funeral Home, 1415 Campbell Rd. Houston, TX 77055.

Interment will be next to beloved husband Joe Webb at Canute cemetery in Oklahoma on August 17th, 2023.
