Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1974. He enjoyed music, dancing and had a passion for DJing with his son. They were known as “ Music Man Enterprise”
He is survived by His wife of 43 years Gloria C. Torres, daughter Rose Marie Lane and spouse Chris Lane, Son Ricardo Torres and spouse Maribel Torres, three grandchildren Ricardo Julian Torres, Jocelyn Rose Torres and Christopher Michael Lane and two older sisters Gloria S. Torres and Lydia S. Soto, along with numerous extended family members & friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran, with Rite of Committal to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
