

Richard Davila, age 81, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, he loved his family and horse racing, and he retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by grandsons, Pedro Morales and Christopher Seligman; parents, Daniel and Concepcion Davila; 4 brothers, and 1 sister. Survived by daughters, Deborha Guerrero and husband David, Teresa Edmiston and husband Ray; son, Marion Richard Davila; grandchildren, Carmalita Lugo and husband Fiedel, Richard Nichols, Pedro Morales, Michael Daniel Davila, Marion Richard Davila, Jr., Clinton McLain, Patrick Lonneberg, and Beth Nichols; great grandchildren, Felix Lugo, Alexis Lugo, Mariah Lugo, Angelica Morales, Grayson Lonneberg, Jacob McLain, McKenna McLain, Kerstyn McLain, Adrian Gallegos, and Anthony Banuelos; great great grandchildren, Aiden Marin-Lugo and Taylin Gallegos. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. the same day at Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N. Main St., Houston, Texas 77009.
