Richard was a proud veteran of the Navy and served on the USS Silverstein DE 534 during the Korean War. He enjoyed attending their reunions. Richard also played in a senior
softball league until he was in his 80’s. He was a devoted caregiver to Sue during her last years and has helped others during the past few years in the senior living facilities where
he has lived. He especially loved his visits from his “babies”- all his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19 at 12:30 at Heights Funeral Home followed by a service at 1:30 with Reverend Warren Wargo officiating. Graveside to follow at historic Hollywood Cemetery.
