Richard is survived by his daughter Cindy Pierce & husband Tommy Pierce. Grandchildren Tommy Pierce, Jr and wife Ashley and Jeremy Pierce and wife Jennifer, Emily Blecher and husband Kelly, Leigh Alexandra Jackson and husband Thomas. Great grandchildren Roy, Caitlyn, Jordan, Karsyn and Kinley.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
