Bob only saw the good in people, never the bad. He retired as Vice President of Blackwell Plastics Molding Company in 1993 and continued his hobbies with woodworking, fishing, and traveling with his wife and best friend, Norma Jean. Bob was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma Jean; 3 sons, John A. (Johnny) of Pasadena, Robert E. (Bob) and wife Mary of League City, William G. (Bill) and wife Susan of Fort Worth; 2 Granddaughters, Jayme and Jazmin of California, and one adopted Granddaughter, Brooke Bowers of Fort Worth.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of Bob’s life from 5pm – 8pm on Sunday, March 14 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Angels, followed by a graveside service in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
