He graduated from Galena Park High School where he received his diploma. On December 21, 2021, he married Samantha Jernigan.
Robert worked as a journeyman electrician and held a Texas State Journeyman’s License. Most recently, he was a supervisor for Tron Electrical where he designed electrical systems.
He liked spending time with his family where they would go camping, RVing, and fishing. Robert was a family man and took time out to spend with his loving family.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Jr and Johanna Jernigan.
Robert is survived by his wife, Samantha Jernigan; daughters, Melanie Jernigan and Destiny Jernigan; parents, James and Janet Dees and sister, Jessica Mattes.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10:00am to 1:30pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm officiated by Pastor Kyle with a committal service to follow.
