He joined the United States Army during the Vietnam War and served his country courageously and honorably. Upon returning from the war, he decided to pursue a college education. He graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Roberto Arevalo was a professional accountant/auditor by education, in addition, he was also an accomplished small business owner. He owned a variety of businesses throughout his life and would work tirelessly to the success of each.
He is survived by his son, Gerardo Arevalo.
Roberto Arevalo was a devoted father and friend who would always go out of his way to help others. He worked hard his entire life and always wanted the best for his family and friends.
He was loved by those who were close to him, and he will be dearly missed.
