Mr. Roger Lee Joubert

Roger completed his first Communion at St Monica’s Catholic Church in Acres Homes Houston, Texas. He attended Carverdale School System during his early education years and completed his early education while serving in the United States Airforce (1971-1974) stationed at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, TX before being sent to Korea during the Vietnam War era.

Upon his discharge from the Airforce, he continued he education at Lee college in Baytown and also attended Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.

Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, fixing cars, but most of all he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by both parents Jessie Joubert and Gladys Citizen Joubert, sister Carolyn Joubert, brother Larry Joubert, brother n law Vernon Guidry and nephew Edmond Smith.

Roger departed this life on October 22, 2021 and leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Robert Brown and Chevis Brown; daughters, Delanie Perkins and Roshanda Joubert Chase (Mark); sisters, Alice Marie Joubert, Sally Guidry (Vernon), Mary Spates (Larry) and Jacquelyn Joubert-Young (John) 13 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family that he loved very much.
