Rosa was born July 29, 1957 to Rosa Lusthoff de Morales and Severo Morales in Monterrey Mexico, one of five children. She went to be with her heavenly father on March 5, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her mother Rosa Lusthoff de Morales and her brother J. Alex Morales.
Rosa attended the University of Houston obtaining an associates degree in business. She worked at Memorial Herman Hospital in the Transplant Center. Spending extra time volunteering at Immaculate Conception Church. Rosa's greatest joy came from caring for and being with her loving family.
Rosa leaves behind her sister, Olga P. Salazar, her brothers, Arturo Morales (wife Blanca) and Abel Morales and sister-in-law, Nellie Morales (late husband J. Alex Morales). Nieces: Olga L. Castanon (husband Michael), Blanca Morales, Alexandra Salazar, Victoria Salazar, Nina Morales and Sara Morales. Nephews: Ian Morales and Eric Morales. Great nephew, Michael A. Castanon, and great niece, Madilyn A. Castanon.
Visitation will be held March 10th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held March 11th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Rosa will be interred at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
