Rosemae Anna Murray

Rosemae Anna Hoop Murray, 95, passed away on August 26, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas to join her husband on their 75th wedding anniversary. “Rosie” was born in Houston, Texas on May 19, 1918 to John and Frieda Hoop. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 61 years, Frederick Ernest Murray, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Bennett; daughters and their husbands: Diane and Chet Dickson and Susan and Randy Andrews; grandchildren: Kimberly Ruud (Lance), Tommy Fatjo (Wendy), Holly Roehl (Jake), Christy McClendon (Tery), Gary Andrews (Joni), and Geoffrey Andrews; step-grandchildren, Scott Dickson (Lisa) and Kelley Fitzgerald; great grandchildren: Landon and Justin Ruud, Berkeley, Thomas, and Travis Fatjo, Paige Roehl, Tripp and Annelise Andrews; step-grandchildren: Maeve and Clive Dickson, and Griffin Fitzgerald. The family wishes to thank Linda Buchan, Ilda Engleman, Julie Nañez, Sara Golden, Diana Trevino, and Aida Engleman for their love, devotion, and excellent care for our Mother. Our special thanks to Dr. Cindy Jumper. Services will be held on Saturday, August 31st, at 10:00 AM in the family chapel at Forest Park Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston. Visitation preceding service 9:00-10:00 AM. Rev. J. Geoffrey Knight of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Pall Bearers: Tommy Fatjo, Gary Andrews, Geoffrey Andrews, Landon Ruud, Justin Ruud, and Scott Dickson.
