Roy Diaz, 55, entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Mike Diaz. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Roy Diaz Jr., & Briana Garza; mother, Mary Diaz sisters, Helen, Rosemary, Victoria & Linda; brothers, Mike, Jim & Gilbert; grandchildren, Rio I Diaz & Alexis R. Puga; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. The family will receive friends from 5-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:15am on Friday, February 28, 2014 followed by Funeral Mass at 10am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 915 Zoe St., Houston, Texas 77020. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
