Popo, I have no words to express how sad I am that you are gone. I'll never forget our trip with you and Mama Martha to the bay house when we were kids. You took us crabbing, swimming, shopping, and my favorite part was the ferry ride. Memories of our Christmases and all of your beautiful outside lights will forever bring me joy. I know you and Mama are together watching over us now. I miss you and love you.

Popo, what an amazing life you had and beautiful family you created.  I will miss you dearly and feel lucky to have had you around for so much of my life.  I will always cherish the magical Christmases we had growing up, with Santa even making an appearance a time or two.  I remember how much pride you took in your yard, from the Christmas lights to your trees and plants, and sitting outside watching the birds and squirrels eat out of your feeders.  I always enjoyed our trips to the ranch with you and Mama Martha.  Although I'm heartbroken that you are gone, I'm glad you are at peace and back together with Mama and the rest of your family.  All my love.

Dad, I can't believe you and Momma are both gone now.  98 years in this world is no small feat, and I will miss you dearly.  My fondest childhood memories were of all of us fishing and crabbing at the bay on the weekends.  I'll also treasure all the times you and Momma spent with us for our weekend BBQ's.  You were always my example of strength, and we all saw that in you, especially these last few years.  I'm so sad that you are no longer here with us, but I take comfort in the fact that you have reunited with Mom.  We love you, Daddy.

Popo, of all the great things you’ve done in life, the best accomplishment of all is raising my dad. Being a father, grandpa, and great-Popo was something you took pride in. One of the most important things you’ve passed down to your kids is knowing that family is everything. Being the family man that you are, I have sweet memories of you and Momo picking Shawna and I up and taking us to church with you. After the service, you introduced us to your friends and the pride that beamed from you made us feel so special. It was such a wonderful feeling that you thought of us while you went garage sale shopping and brought us back toys. You were so happy to show us your manger in the front yard at Christmas time. Thank you Popo for treasured memories. I’m so glad you’re dancing with Momo in heaven. Sending lots of love and hugs your way! 

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye (for now) to Daddy/PoPo.  He was always active; outside tending to plants and working in he yard. Any projects or repairs being done- he was right there handing me supplies and tools needed to complete the job. I always enjoyed dancing with PoPo - he was a great dancer (SMOOTHE AS BUTTER).  Although you will be missed, we take comfort in knowing that you are with Momma.  We love and miss you Daddy and will all be together again someday.

To my dear loving dad, my heart is broken for you but I know you are in the arms of our Loving Lord and mama.  No more suffering,  no more pain. I am so grateful to have been blessed to call you dad and alot of times "Sam"!  I know you & mom are watching  with pride  over all of your  kids. I will miss you tremendously.  Until we're together again,  rest in peace.  I love you daddy..Carol 

Dear Marchele and family, we are sending our love and prayers. I know your dad must have been a great guy because you are such a beautiful person. I wish I had met him, but I did through you. Continue to make him proud as he watches from above.  I appreciate his service and he is not forgotten. Thank you Mr. Lucario! 

My heart is so broken to know we will not enjoy being with you in this world again, but in my heart I hold so many memories of so many times we spent together; talking, laughing, reminiscing of old times, dancing, and holding your hands. You, Aunt Martha, Momma and Daddy gave the 8 of us kids the best gift parents could have given; the gift of growing up together as a family. So many weekends at the houses cooking out and playing hard until dark. So many Bay Cliff shenanigans and crabbing trips to count. Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversary's, Graduations, Babies, you name it we celebrated it together. You sat beside me at Leslie's wedding reception and held my hand so sweet. You were so much to so many, we could go on and on. But the most important thing I have to say is your legacy will live on forever in so many. We will never forget you, our children will never forget you and now you can dance in heaven with Aunt Martha and give Momma and Daddy a kiss for us. You are an Angel of God now and you can be whole again and rest in the arms of Jesus †

You were the greatest popo ever!  I miss you and I miss sitting on your lap and all your popo rubs.

Oh, daddy I love you! 💙 You were such a great dad, my friend, my neighbor and a great father-in-law.  You were so brave and so strong until the very end. Over the years you’ve taught me so many things and many different trades.  My heart is broken 💔 but I know you’re up there with moma.  There’s so many things I’m gonna miss about you. Heaven has gained an angel and I know you’ll be looking down on us. We made so many memories and I will carry them with me always. I’ll be watching for you because I know you will come see me.  Until we are together again, I love you daddy, 💘with all my heart and my soul. 🦋

Sending love, thoughts and prayers to you and yours

My heart is so sad with the passing  of my beloved Uncle Sammy and Godfather.  He was so sweet, and fun and I have so many memories but one of my favorites is when we were at a family wedding, dances or other celebrations and a fast song would come on.  He would grab my hand and say, "come on Sherry, let's dance".  And we would cut a rug.  I can see him now twirling around and both of us smiling enjoying the moment.  I will keep that in my memories forever.  He was always a big part of my life along with my Aunt Martha and Godmother.  I loved them dearly and always enjoyed our many visits and shared family gatherings.  Oh how he loved my Mamma (his "Sister") and my Daddy.  And they him.  These four very special people knew how to have fun and raised their families practically together.   I am so grateful and blessed to have had them in my life. I love you Uncle Sammy and will hold you close to my heart forever.  My love and prayers go out to my Lucario family.  I love you all

We are saddened by Sam’s passing but glad that he has been restored to wholeness in Jesus Christ. 

Sam so loved seeing the Nativity scene set up during the Christmas Season. The Christmas tree and all the lights brought him so much joy.
