Sammie Lee Anderson

On August 19, 1946, Sammie L. Anderson was born to Udell(Brenham) Anderson and Charlie L. Anderson, Sr. in Bremond, Texas. During his pilgrimage he attended Bremond Elementary and Love High Schools in Bremond, Texas. Sammie confessed to Christ at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church in Bremond, Texas. After moving to Houston, Texas, Sammie worked as a laborer, an electrician and a plumber. Sammie is preceded in death by his parents Udell Brenham-Haywood and Charlie L. Anderson, Sr.; son John L. Anderson; his stepfather Willie M. Haywood, stepmother Mary Anderson; sister Aline Haywood and brother Charlie L. Anderson, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Sammie L. Anderson, Jr.; daughter Winona Jefferson; stepson Jarvis Wright and family; grandchildren Sammie Anderson III, Kayla Anderson, Derek Anderson, Samamha Anderson, Samyra Anderson, Rashanique Enslley, and Jonathon Berrinder; sisters Bernadine Crawford, Wanda (Ray) Barnes, Laverne (Gary) Walton, Charlene (Edward) Graham, Helen (Edward) Massengill, Doris (Vertis) Hampton, Marilyn William and Sherry(Terry) Williams; brothers Willie Brenham, John L. (Bessie) Anderson, Sr., Clayton Anderson, Eugene Anderson, Carl W. (Helen) Haywood, Glen M. Haywood, Roy L. Haywood, Tommy Anderson, Lorenzo William (Kathy) and Arthur Anderson; special nephew Roy L.
