Mr. London, I just Googled your name and saw that you are with the Lord now.  You were ALWAYS so kind to me when I was a student at Jack Yates High School.  You reached out to me in my darkness and showed me the Love of Christ.  I am sorry that I did not get a chance to say "thank you..."  I appreciate how your non-judgemental attitude; you NEVER once rejected me for being different, morbidly-obese, and off-beat.  Instead, you and your lovely family faithfully came to my house and had Bible study in my minuscule house.  You knew that I was hurting, and you took time out of your busy schedule to let me know that someone cared.  You even purchased a book for me called "When Bad Things Happen to Good People" that was written by a rabbi who knew a thing or two about suffering.  You were a man of  noble character who NEVER once was inappropriate.  I wil always highly esteem you, Mr. London.  You were so humble and articulate.  You taught Major Studies English with exuberance, and from what I can remember you had impeccable handwriting.  I must confess that I honestly use to wish you were my dad because my real-life father inflicted so much unbearable pain on me.  But, God used you as a conduit to show me His Agape love.  You had an aura of peace around you that obliterated the inner-toilings that I struggled with.  No wonder you eventually became an Art instructor,  because you were creatively making masterpieces  of people's shattered lives.  Also, you and your wife's intercession was instrumental in saving me from suicide.   May God bless and prosper your seed because of the sacrifices you made serving others.  May your legacy live on in your children's, and in your children's children's lives forever.  May God's countenance and favor forever surround the London dynasty.  May God grant your descendants peace and may He open doors that no man can close.  May prosperity, good will, and wisdom forever be within the Londons' borders.   Well done, Dr. London.  Well done.   

Mr london, You were a light to my love for art in so many ways. I always wished we would cross paths again. I had so much fun in your classes all 4 years at cypress falls, theres been so much ive wanted to tell you and to see how you've been. i even tried looking for you over the years and never had any luck... untill now...and im deeply saddened. i am glad i was always welcome to visit your classes even when i was going to the Art Institute. I dont regret that at all.  thank you so much for all you did for me and believing in me. I will miss you my friend and student. sending my love to your favily as well Sir. untill we meet again.

I send heartfelt sympathies to Mr London's family on their loss. I'm a former student of his from KCK when he taught Art at Northeast Jr High School in 1973. I'll always remember Mr London's patience & kindness....I thank him for both.

You were the most gentle and kind teacher and human being. My years at Northeast Jr. High School were so enriched by the time I spent with you in art class. For the way you treated me and for what you taught me; I thank you.

Mary and family,
 I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss, Sam was very special to me.
 He took an interest in me that few ever have, I will never forget when he ask me to participate in the foot washing with him because he knew that I normally did not do it with anyone else and he did not want me to miss it. Also it was because of him that I am an Elder in the church. I will miss my friend very much, I will miss being able to call him when need some encouragement in hard times. Just remember this when Jesus calls his children from the sleep of death Sam will be there too and we will suffer no more sickness or pain. The Lord is coming soon! May God bless you with his peace and keep you strong in these last days.

Words cannot express how I feel right now but I can say this I will continue to keep my family in prayer. God is able to heal broken hearts my brother-in-law left us but he left a praying family his devoted wife Mary Brice London and two wonderful sons, and a beautiful daughter-in-law Sam loved you all so very much he's all right now because he knew the Lord he was my special brother-in-law family remember this keep looking up to the hills thats where your help comes from the Lord I love you sis. Remember this Sam knew you all would be alright want to no why he knew that, well see he knew that he were leaving you all so he left you all in very good hands God's hands.

 Mary, Ted and I remember Samuel as our classmate at Holman in Stuttgart. May the love of friends and family carry you, Samuel Jr. and Ingram through your grief.
