Sandra (Sandy) Jean Grisham “Sassy”, 79, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on January 6, 2026. She was born on July 3, 1946, in Ben Hur, Texas, and carried with her a deep appreciation for the people she loved throughout her life.
Sandy was known for her warm heart, her love of family and friends, and her genuine enjoyment of life. She found joy in good music, meaningful conversations, and the simple pleasures of being surrounded by loved ones. Her laughter, kindness, and independent spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Hudson of Houston and Elaine Ulrich of Canyon Lake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, William Vaughn Grisham, her mother, Nona Faye Adair, and step-father, James Adair.
Sandy will be interred at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas, following a graveside service on January 14th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sandy’s name to the charity of your choice.
