I can't believe it's been over a month since you left us to be with beautiful people in a beautiful place. I miss you daily Grandpa, this has been very hard on me but i promise to try my hardest to make you proud. I treasure the memories you left engraved in my heart and pray for you every night as I know you're doing for all of us. I love you Grandpa and I miss you more than words can express. I constantly hear your voice in my head replaying all the phone calls and songs you made for us. McDonalds breakfast isn't as good anymore <3

I am so sorry to hear of Servando's passing, he was a man filled with love for everyone. I have great memories of him as I was growing up, he was wonderful man to our family. He will be greatly missed. The Soliz Family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Losing my father has been difficult for me, but I am comforted by one special memory I have about him.  Years ago, I had the opportunity to share a father-son conversation with my dad.   During this talk, he said to me that he wished that when the time came when he had to leave us…that he could have something of value to leave with me.  I told him, “Dad, I don’t need anything of value because what means the most to me are the memories I have of you.”  And I said to him…”Dad, you’re not only my father…you’re my best friend.”   Over the years I realized that this meant a lot to him because whenever my father got together with his friends he would tell them about the conversation we had…and he’d tell them that he was proud of me that I could feel that way about him.
I have many, many memories of my father…but that one is special because I know I made him proud of me.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Soliz was always very kind and helpful to me and every time I saw him, he always had a smile on his face. I'll say a prayer for him and the family.

My Tio Servie was a loving and sweet man, a splitting image of my papa with a heart of gold.  What a beautiful family chain Tia Joann and he created and what an accomplishment and inspirational notion to know their marriage was till death do them part.  While it hurts my heart for our family to loss a great man, I thank god that he is finally at peace.  All my love to my Soliz family may we find comfort in each other during this time.

My life is richer fo knowing Mr. Soliz. I know he loved his family and friends. He will be missed by many at the sheriff's office.
