Sharon Megginson Isaacks

Sharon Raybon Megginson Isaacks of Tomball, Texas passed away on May 21st, 2024 at the age of 69. She was born on November 24th, 1954 in Chickasaw, Alabama. She grew up in the Oak Forest Subdivision in Houston, TX.

She started taking dance classes at Patsy Swayze School of Dance in the neighborhood at a young age. This is where she started down the path that would turn out to be her lifelong passion. She opened her first dance school in Cypress in 1980 and spent the next almost 30 years being Ms. Sharon to thousands of little girls, and all the while being Mom to her sons Travis and Joshua and loving wife to husband Bill. After retiring in 2007 she spent her time painting; traveling with her husband Bill; and being a grandma.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Bill Isaacks; parents Harlan Guy Sr and Mary Ellen Megginson; father-in-law Dwight W. Isaacks Sr and mother-in-law Mary Louise Isaacks; sister Debbie Erickson; and is survived by son Travis Isaacks and partner Dawn Livingston; son Joshua Isaacks; grandchildren Emily Claire, Katelynn, Brayden, and Luna Isaacks; sisters Cindy McCullough and husband Tim, Marie Van Dusen; brother Guy Megginson and wife Rachel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 13th, 2024 from 3-5pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023 and everyone is welcome.
