Sharon Beverly Jensen

An outstanding academic, Sharon was salutatorian of the 1969 graduating class of Klein High School. She maintained a passion for learning throughout her life and went on to obtain multiple degrees in Computer Science. Sharon’s interests included drawing, painting and craftwork, and she displayed fine talent and creativity in all. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and loved to sing all kinds of music. Above all, Sharon was a caring daughter, sister and aunt, a loyal and devoted friend and a faithful child of God. She loved animals, nurturing and spoiling numerous beloved cats in her lifetime.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, LD and Gertrude Jensen. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Claeys and husband Chris; brother, Richard Jensen and partner Nancy Velarde de Jager; nephew, Mike Rodriguez; niece, Christina Lanius and husband Jacob; nephew, Jason Brown and wife Lindsey; her dear friend, Francesca Graham; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation for Sharon will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Heights Funeral Home.
