It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sophie V. Bilski, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Sophie peacefully passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 93.
Sophie leaves behind her daughter, Joann Hamm; daughter-in-law, Shirley; and partner, Scott Escher. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tracy Mizell (Shane), Christi Nedd, Brittany Michalak (Brandon), Chelsea Bilski (Ryan Pawlak), and Ryan Hamm (Tabatha). Sophie was also proud to be the great-grandmother to Devin Mizell, Taylor Ash, Korie Nedd, Dylan Michalak, Christian Michalak, Zoe Hamm, and Aiden Hamm, and the great-great-grandmother to Caden Mizell, Rhylie Ash, Oaklynd Ash, and Laekyn Halbert.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albin Bilski; daughter, Patricia Ann Kinder; son, Thomas William Bilski; and son-in-law, Daniel Dwayne Hamm.
Sophie’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will be forever remembered.
