To Helen and Don and their families, we send our condolences and express our sympathy, for the loss of your son Stephen Thomas Ray. Stephen was a co worker of mine and grew to become a good friend...I spoke to Stephen last week about our Texans going to beat up on the Colts...We ate lunch together everyday at work and even after I left CBRE we grew closer....My heart goes out to his sons and his family....He will be truely missed....

I have a wonderful picture of Lisa and Stephen holding three Cabbage Patch Dolls when we were all kids, I have many good memories of time spent with Stephen and your entire family. I had the priviledge of working with Stephen for 6 yrs, from 2000 thru 2006 until I retired. He is to me a profound friend and the best co-worker that I ever met. Stephen was like a brother to me. It seems like we were just playin in the yard as kids just yesterday. It hurts and I give my condolences to helen, don, pj and tim. Stepehen was one of my closet friends, neighbor and was like a brother to me. I've known him my whole life and just hope for the best for his family. Things like this are unexpected, and my condolences go to his family. I wish there was time left for me to speak with him, but I guess god had his special spot in heaven for him. I never thought us growin up as kids would something so catastrophic could happen. Its like we were just kids playin yesterday. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. I have worked with Steve over the many years and have come to know him as a friend, We had lunch together on a regular basis and shared a small part of each others life. Stephen will be missed and my heart goes out to his family.

I am one of the many vendors that Stephen needed from time to time to lend a helping hand.  I don't remember how many years ago I first met him.  It was when he started to work for Trammell Crow.  10-12 years, maybe.  
I have a problem remembering names so I try to associate something special with each person.  Stephen was too hard.   Ray, as in "ray of sunshine" worked for me.  His smile and lively demeanor fitted perfectly.  I liked him right away.
I was surprised, it was not long until "Stephen" also fitted perfectly.  He made a big impression on me.  
I never forget him.
