Steven was born on September 8, 1954 to Ira and Joyce Heiney in Anderson, IN. Steven wed Yolanda Macias-Heiney and went on to have one child, Andrew Heiney.
Steven had a long career at ExxonMobil in which he was able to meet and work alongside many talented people who became more than just his coworkers. Steven retired from Exxon after 30 years and spent his time traveling, going to restaurants, drinking bourbon, and spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors.
Steven was predeceased by both of his parents and his wife Yolanda Macias-Heiney. He is survived by his son Andrew Heiney; his siblings Ron Heiney, Eric Heiney, Karen Bell, and Sue Burran.
Services will be held at The Heights Funeral Home 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008 on September 26, 2024 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O. Box 62066 Durham, NC 27715.
