After working briefly at a bank before her children were born, she was a stay-at-home mom until her children were in high school. She was a wonderful mom and teacher to her children. She then worked at Sears in customer service for 10 years.
Then she began working at the Aldine Independent School District as a paraprofessional and sub until her retirement.
Sylvia was an active worker and faithful servant in her church, Memorial Baptist in Spring, TX until Covid.
She was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. She helped others know the Lord, helped with funerals, prepared meals, and served on various committees. She loved her church and the Lord very much.
Her health began to decline within the last year and life was hard to live. She lived life well and fought the good fight. We will always love her and remember her in our hearts and we rejoice in knowing that she is now home with her Lord and Savior and no longer suffering.
