Mr. Terrance Eugene Woods Sr.

Terrance Eugene Woods “Teedie” was born on November 13, 1962 to Miss Hattie Mae and James Earl Woods Sr. Terrance was proud to let everyone know that he was born at Hermann Hospital in the Medical Ctr in Houston, Texas. Terrance was the last baby to be born to his parents.

Terrance joined Greater Zachary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jackie Gilmore Sr.

He was raised up in the 4th Ward and attended Gregory Elementary and Abraham Lincoln. His family moved to Studewood where he completed his education at Booker T. Washington High School.

Terrance departed this life on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Southwest Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Hattie Mae and James Earl Woods Sr. and 3 brothers Ronald Woods, Sanford Woods & James Woods Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories Jacqueline White whom he called his “Queen”, 1 daughter Tiesha Wiley, 4 sons Terrance Woods Jr, Rashad Woods, Terrance Conway and his baby son Tyrique Woods, step daughter Courtney Hearn, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Larry Woods (Monica); 5 sisters, Brenda Maxie, Sanda Kaye Curtis, Barbara Ann Woods, Ruby Jewel and Patricia; 2 uncles, Kenneth Hill and Norman Hill and a host of other relatives and loving friends who will love him and cherish his memories.
