Thelma (Jo) Sharpe, Born November 21, 1922 - Died December 5, 2012 after a hard fought battle our beloved mother and grandmother went to be with her sweetheart of 68 years. She treasured her family and many friends, a wonderful homemaker and was very active with her husband in the Houston Shrine. She was preceded by her beloved husband, Willie (Bill) Sharpe, Jr. and her grandson, Gregory Dean. She leaves son, Robert (Bob) Sharpe and wife Linda, daughter, Mary Ashby and finance, Kenneth Richardson; grandsons, Robert Sharpe, Joey Crowder, granddaughters, Laura King, Sheri Parsons and Guinn Sharpe; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and her special friend Kathy Compton. A visitation will begin at 9am with the funeral service to follow at 10am on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A private burial service will follow. Pallbearers are Joey Crowder, Chase Crowder, Christopher Sharpe, Sam Sharpe, Perry Sharpe and Robert Sharpe.
