He graduated from Sam Houston State University and received a bachelor degree in business. Tommy was married to Angel Burns for 13 1/2 years.
Tommy had a career in meat processing and owned Timber Creek Smokehouse. He was an ordained minister and had a passion for fishing and hunting.
He was survived by his loving wife Angel Burns; stepchildren Bryce Burns and Bret Burns; sister-in-laws Teresa Mazyn, Diane Wiederhold and Chris Mazyn; Brother- in law Albin Mazyn and Roger Wiederhold.
A celebration of life for Tommy will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
