He fought with determination and tremendous courage, driven by his deep love for those around him.
He was born in Houston,Texas on November 5, 1962. Tony graduated from John H. Reagan High School.
Born to Pedro Mancilla Perez and Guadalupe Serna Perez, was the brother to nine siblings, all of whom cherished his presence in their lives. As a devoted husband of 29 years to Traci Perez, he filled their home with love, laughter, and countless memories. His family and friends remember him as a man of great integrity, always willing to lend a hand or share his wittiness to lift the spirits of those around him.
Tony had a career in Operations Management for Q pumps. He was a hard worker and respected by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. But it wasn’t just his work that defined him—his passions were vast and vibrant. He had a deep love for all sports, whether he was watching a game, playing golf, or cycling.
His wit was legendary, and his love for a good party was unmatched. Tony could always be found at the center of a crawfish boil, bringing people together with his infectious energy and zest for life.
Though his life was cut short, the impact Tony had on those around him will be felt for years to come. His strength, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his wife Traci aka “La Graci”, his parents Pedro and Lupita, siblings Yoli, Pete, Joe, Rosie, Ruben, Beva, Andy, Raul, and Zeke, in-laws, 18 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, countless extended family and friends.
Tony, you weren’t ready to leave, and neither were we. Your fight was courageous, and your spirit remains with us. Rest in peace.
A gathering for Tony will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, with the celebration of life starting at 2:00pm and the reception to follow from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
