Vernon Anthony Pregeant, born October 21, 1940 in Houston, Tx, was called to heaven on April 16, 2013. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Grace Pregeant. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Eileen Pregeant, his four children, Suzette Gunn, David Pregeant, Tammie Steinman, Rhonda Clemens, step-son Grover Hodges, 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, whom he loved very much. Vernon is also survived by his sister Peggy Schroeder and brother Danny Pregeant along with an unimaginable number of friends. Vernon graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1958 and worked for Hughes Christensen until his retirement in 2008. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all who knew him. Viewing and Memorial Service will be at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Tx. Viewing is on April 23, 2013 from 5-9pm. Memorial Service is on April 24, 2013 at 2pm.
