Veronica Valdes-Molina went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29th after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Houston Texas on August 7th, 1969, to parents Rodolfo and Celia Valdes and was married to Felipe Molina for 13 years.
Veronica was an amazing mother, wife, sister and friend. She loved to travel and experience new places. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Veronica especially loved the family gatherings which she orchestrated. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her children which she did as much as she could. Veronica had an amazing love for people. She also loved animals, especially cats. She was often referred to as, "The Crazy Cat Lady". She was most excited about becoming a Wela and would talk to her "Sweet Pea" as often as she could. She lived a life filled with so much love, light, and compassion and will be deeply missed by so many.
Veronica is proceeded in death by her father, Rodolfo Almeida Valdes, mother, Celia Ibarra Valdes and nephew, Pete Ryan Rocha. She is survived by her husband, Felipe Molina, son, Christian Ortiz, daughter-in-law, Kathyrn Ortiz, daughter, Brianna Bruhn, son- in-law Logan Bruhn, stepson, Manuel Molina, and unborn granddaughter, Daniela Veronica Bruhn. She is also survived by her brothers, Victor Gonzalez and Rodolfo T. Valdes, Sister, Sandra Conde, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Veronica will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 25 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 25 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022. A graveside service will occur Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
