

Warren grew up in London, England, attended Jr. High in Dallas, Texas and High School in Houston, Texas. From an early age, Warren was a very talented trumpet player and really enjoyed being in the band at Spring Woods High School. He graduated from Sam Houston College in Huntsville, Texas with two degrees. We were very proud of him.
Warren worked different jobs over several years. He spent a year in Malaysia with a friend. When he returned, he was very ill and needed extensive cancer treatments at MD Anderson Hospital for a year as an inpatient. This was testicular cancer that had metastasized to his lower abdomen. Warren fought for his life. However, some cancer cells and returned last month. Yet, Warren was able to volunteer in the office of the West Houston Assistance Ministries for several years.
Warren was always a fighter through many years of different hardships. And his parents moved often, he had to change schools and make new friends.
Warren was a great big brother to James, who has had many different illnesses of his own since childhood. He was a very loving son to his parents all these years.
Warren is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Firuzan “Fifi” Wetherhead and by his brother, James Beardsley.
A memorial service will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Fair Haven United Methodist Church, 1330 Gessner in Houston, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
