William “Will” McNaspy died on January 18, 2025 in Houston, Texas. Will was born on November 10, 1969 in Freeport, Texas to Herbert McNaspy and Janette Ambuhl McNaspy. Will moved to Houston with his parents in 1974 and then to Missouri City in 1975 where he attended school.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn McNaspy, father, Herbert McNaspy, mother, Janette Ambuhl, and daughter, Jennifer McNaspy. He is also survived by his best friends, Tim Mann and Aimee Lopez, and numerous other family members and friends.
Will always loved with his whole heart, and what he loved the most was his family and friends. Will never met a stranger. In 5 minutes, you knew he was a friend. Will was the kind of friend you could always count on. Whether you were stuck on the side of the road at 3am or needed help parking cars at your wedding, Will would be there with his boisterous mood ready to help with anything you needed.
Will did have several other passions in life. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys with a tattoo to prove it! He and his best friends Tim and Aimee would root for the Cowboys regardless of what kind of season they were having. They attended several games including one Tim and Will went to in Jerry’s world, ATT Stadium. Will and Tim both played fantasy football in the long running family league every year.
Another passion he also shared with Tim, and any friend or family member that was willing to go, was fishing. He was always ready to bait a hook and his favorite fishing spot the last few years was at his land in Wadsworth, Texas. He took great pride in the little pier he built out there and would often share pictures on Facebook of his fishing trips.
His other passions included motocross, riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, and going to Monster Jam every chance he got.
Will may have only lived 55 years – but in those years, he always loved hard, worked hard, and played harder. His absence will be felt by all who knew him.
Thomas Campbell said, “To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die.” And Will’s memory will be carried on in all our hearts forever.
May he rest in peace.
